Some things I found on Sunday

I’ve found some things. You may or may not like them.

Map of Metal.

Forget those silly maps of Social Media. This is a map of metal. And it’s brilliant.

The suits of James Bond

The suits of James Bond is a wonderful thing.

Unevolved Brands

“A progressive study on brand & logo simplification by Graham Smith”. I think Unevolved Brands is a tiny bit smashing.

Can you ever have enough pop-up?

The Munich Secruity Conference // The Aesthetics of a Demonstration.

It was a beautiful day here in Munich today. The sun was out and the sky was blue. The Munich Secruity Conference is also taking place which means that most of the city is sealed off because important people from all around the world come to talk about important things. There’s always a demonstration when the MSC is on so I thought it might be interesting to go down and have a look. I haven’t been to a demo in years and I must say that I’m a little surprised how little has changed; everybody chants the same things, the signs look the same and you can still find left wing organisations who will shout at you about what they are against. They are not “for” much.  It was a pretty colourful day. Hope you like the photographs.

Photoswap. Chatroulette but without the willies.

A colleague has just shown me a little app for the iPhone and I must admit that I think it’s splendid. As some of you may remember, I was briefly (for about three whole hours) a huge fan of chatroulette. That was full of naked body parts so I ran away. Photoswap is an app for the iPhone and works in pretty much the same way as chatroulette but with photos (and at the moment naked body parts).

It’s dead easy to use. You take a picture and the system swaps it with someone and then you can start a little photo-dialogue with them. I love this kind of stuff and so does Mario.

I think I’m going to have fun with this. Good afternoon.
